Blackhawks fall on the road to Dodgers

A light week schedule wise for the Prairie du Chien Boys Basketball team this past week was made even lighter with the postponement of one of their two scheduled games.

 

The lone game last week for Prairie du Chien saw the Hawks travel to Dodgeville last Thursday, Jan. 22. The host Dodgers defeated the Hawks 76-38. 

 

Prairie was led in scoring by Cayden Sutter and Sam Kramer with seven points each. Ashton Landt and Brock Folsom each added six points, while Steven Duha (four points), Brice Krachey (three points), Parker Bedward and Elias Kimbler (two points each) and Garrett DeHart (one point) rounded out the Hawks scoring tally. Landt and Folsom were the Hawks leading rebounders with four rebounds each.

 

Dodgeville improved to 8-6 overall and 3-2 in the SWC, while PdC dropped to 1-13 overall and 0-5 in the SWC.

 

The Hawks road game at Westfield that was scheduled for this past Saturday evening was postponed to a future date. 

 

Prairie du Chien returned home last night to host Westby in non-conference action before hitting the road again tomorrow night at Platteville at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday afternoon at Barneveld at 1 p.m.
